Boarding and Training at Virtue Stables

Training is done based on a time frame the horse needs.  We take our time and work with the horses from the ground up!  Not every horse is the same so neither is each program.  While some of the horses come to us for training in competition others come to us to work through difficulties and others come just to brush the cobwebs off from hanging around in fields having not done much as of late.  Training is completed by our trainer and from time to time a working student may work on the ground or lunge training, while supervised by our trainer.  Training fees begin at $200 per month.  Does not include board, regular vet care, hoof care, and other objects or needs of the individual horse.

Please contact us with your individual needs and we will do our best to work with you and your budget.  We do at times work off a waitlist for training and sale spots.  Best to not wait until the month you desire training to sign yourself or horse up!  Give us a call soon. We do get horses in for sale and on month to month basis as well as long(er) term so open spots can and do change from month to month.

Our barn was designed with the horses comfort and herd instinct in mind. The barn eves reach 10' in height to allow maximum air flow throughout the barn.  Large 12' aisle way to provide space for horses and people to pass each other comfortably. All the stalls are large and spacious. Featuring a multi-layer floor with rubber matts for drainage and ease on the horses joints when stalled.  Each stall grill work to allow the horses to see each other and added airflow through out the stalls.

Boarders are offered enough space to store their everyday pieces of equipment, bandages and other equine essential necessities. We offer the use of our large 86 x 200 lighted outdoor ring, wash stall with hot and cold water, heated tackroom, heated bathroom and coming in 2018 trails! There is plenty of jumps for full jumper or hunter style courses, grid work and all the standard dressage arena letters in place!

We do not have public boarding, in that everyone boarding here is part of our active lesson and/or training program.  We LOVE having clients who are active in the daily/weekly lives of their horses and want the best for their horses as we do.

Please feel free to give us a call to answer any questions you may have or to set up a time to visit us see what we are in the process of building to make VS even better.
